The Roustabout Training Course is a basic course for anyone who wants to work in oil rigs. The Roustabout (or Roughneck) is part of the Maritime Crew and is in charge of assisting with cargo handling operations as well as assisting the specialists in maintenance and repair activities when required.
In short, the Roustabout is a sort of “jack of all trades” for minor jobs on board. The training course was developed to allowed inexperienced workers to learn the skills required to perform the task with safety and quality. The training provides students the knowledge of the technical standards and safety policies, as well as the health, security and environmental requirements.
The Course Consist of two phases:-
Phase 1- Online Training.
Online training that would balance theoretical knowledge, safety consciousness and efficiency for those who wish to take up a profession to serve in Oil and Gas.
Phase 2 – On-the-Job Training.
In partnership with various Oil & Gas companies we provide OJT (On job Training). You will be working with crew members. After 12 months of OJT you will be inducted in the same organization with a monthly salary of $450 to $800.
QUALIFICATION & ELIGIBILITY OF CANDIDATES
10th Standard pass from government recognized board
Age limit: Minimum age 17 to 30 years on the date of commencement of course.
